Bridge of Hope
"Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow."- Isaiah 1:17
Founded by Dr. Rod Parsley, Bridge of Hope is a humanitarian outreach organization, bringing hope to the world by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and providing life-sustaining food, medical supplies and other essentials.
Bridge of Hope has been named a First Responder by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Because of faithful Partners and Friends, our Bridge of Hope teams bring hope to the desperate around the world:
- Nearly 40 THOUSAND people have been liberated from the bonds of slavery and human trafficking in Sudan, Haiti, and elsewhere.
- Over 28 MILLION life-saving meals have been delivered to children and families in the most impoverished circumstances.
- As a first-responder, Bridge of Hope rushes emergency aid to those who lost everything because of catastrophes such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, or famine.
- Over 5,000 babies have been saved through the Bridge of Hope Women's Clinic.
Domestically, Bridge of Hope has been involved in disaster relief, providing food, water, ice and cleaning supplies in the wake of disasters including Hurricanes Katrina, Gustav, Ike, Sandy, Florence, Michael, Matthew, Harvey; tornadoes in Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri, and various other places.
Bridge of Hope has also completed projects in the African nations of South Sudan, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya, and Mozambique, in Europe, Asia, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, including Haiti (both before and after the January 2010 earthquake there), Puerto Rico (following Hurricane Maria), Guatemala, and the Abaco Islands following the devastating hurricane destruction.
